1. Social Distancing stays at 2m
Yes, the rules have changed, but we know from talking to our customers that many of you feel safer sticking to the 2m rule, so that’s what were doing here. We’re also keeping our one way system and clear floor markings so that everyone know where they’re supposed to stand. For the time being, this is the “new normal” we keep hearing about, and it’s vital that not only are both customer and staff alike safe, but that everyone feels safe too!
2. Cleansing
We continue to wipe down handles and surfaces each morning and throughout the day. There is ample alcohol hand sanitiser as you enter each area to sanitise your hands and the handle of your shopping basket too if required. We even sell locally produced hand sanitiser and fabric face masks in the shop
3. Drive-in shopping service for vulnerable and ‘at risk’ customers
When you arrive, stay in your car and wave your shopping list. Don’t worry, we’ll be on the lookout. A member of the team will take your list and do your shopping for you while you stay in the car and listen to The Archers. You can then pay, contactless, and be on your way.
4. More choice from a single trip
To make shopping less stressful, we continue to work with an eclectic mix of local producers to provide a wide array of products. It’s always been our ethos here at Pecks Farm Shop to source everything as locally as possible – most just a few miles away or closer.
